Overview

Adelaide University was born from the merger of two leading institutions, creating a new identity that combines rich academic heritage with a forward-looking digital vision. Partnering with Deloitte, we defined the digital experience strategy, toolkit and brand system that would guide the new university’s online presence.

Challenge

Two universities meant two distinct brands, cultures and digital infrastructures. The challenge was to merge these into one cohesive identity and design framework—balancing tradition and innovation while enabling scalability across faculties, research units and audiences.

Solutions

I led the digital design direction and toolkit development, establishing core UI patterns, typography, and motion principles that defined the new digital ecosystem. Our system became the blueprint for Deloitte’s web build, ensuring consistency and accessibility across all platforms. The result is a unified experience that embodies Adelaide University’s academic legacy and its ambition to lead in the future of education.
